Zeytindostu.org
which means "Olive Friend" in Turkish is the web site of the
"Olive and Olive Oil Friends Association" located in
Izmir, Turkey. They have about 500 members and 5,000 associates who
are involved in all aspects of olive culture. They are not a trade
association, per se, but rather a group of friends who share a
passion related to the fruit of the olive tree including artists,
exporters, engineers, scientists, writers, farmers, chiefs,
consumers, architects, olive press owners and many others. The
founder of TurkishOliveOil.org was also invited to be a founding
member of Zeytindostu by Mr. Zafer Özer, who
is the president and founder of ZeytinDostu. |
